VVMTA - Training - Sharpen Your Trail Building Skills!

Join us for a VVMTA training to "sharpen" your technical trail building skills! 

This training is open to ANYONE who wants to learn more about the basics of trail maintenance and sustainable trail construction! 

Description of training: Understand the critical role maintenance plays in trail longevity. Learn how to identify and mitigate trail damage, ensuring user safety and trail sustainability. From tools and techniques to finishing touches, this workshop equips you with the knowledge to build trails that harmonize with their surroundings. We'll go over a range of topics including: trail tools, drainages and water management, berms, grade reversals, and rock work. Come prepared to learn and do some trail work!

– Closed Toe Shoes– Gloves– Water/Sunscreen/Snacks– Sunglasses– Long Pants (recommended)
